Crutch is a basketball player for the Stony Brook Junior High team. He and Bobby were compatible because they could correctly guess the moves the others would make. After the disappearance of the Pendragons, he became the star of the team. After going to Davis Gregory High, however, he was challenged by the older children and still overcame the others to save the team.
