Glaze is a bright blue gem-like substance that occurs naturally on Denduron. The Bedoowan forced the Milago to mine it. It was difficult to mine because there is a toxin in the air that's will kill you with prolonged exposure, and to make matters worse, it is deep underground, making it equally hard to dig it up. If they didn't get enough during the Transfer Ceremony, then they would get dropped into a deep pit underground.
