Pendragonseries

The ten books in Pendragon.

Pendragon: Journal of an Adventure through Time and Space, commonly known as The Pendragon Adventure or simply Pendragon, is a ten book science fiction and fantasy series by D.J. MacHale, published from 2002 to 2009. The series is about Bobby Pendragon, a popular jock at his junior high school, who discovers that he is a "Traveler," a group of people who must travel through time and space to prevent the destruction of everything. Bobby writes about his adventures and sends journals back home to his best friends, Mark and Courtney.

Each book has a "main" territory where Bobby has to, with the help of his fellow Travelers, blend in and stop Saint Dane, and shape shifting villain, from destroying the territory. Saint Dane finds a turning point in each territory's history and tries to influence the citizens of the territory to make the decision that steers them towards chaos.

The books are told in first person point of view through Bobby's journals, as well as a third-person point of view to tell the stories of characters other than Bobby, mostly Mark and Courtney. Each book of the series repeatedly alternates between these two narrative perspectives.
